In the polder area of 'Het Buijtenland van Rhoon' a range of organisations and individuals are building a sustainable agricultural future. Who is living and working here? And what are the distinctive features of the landscape?
The 'Buijtenland van Rhoon' is an ancient polder landscape. Farmers, entrepreneurs and nature organisations are working on sustainable food production and on preserving the polder as a recreational place. I portrayed the 'Buijtenlanders', from potato farmer to shepherd, from hiker to bird watcher, with the polder in the background, throughout all seasons.
The Province Zuid-Holland uses my work for their brand image, area marketing and other means of communication, such as the 'Buijtenland van Rhoon' website, presentations and social media.
I developed a workshop for children, 'KijkjeBuiten', discover and wonder in nature. And of course we visit farmers and nature managers in the area.
